A man’s been arrested in the UK after an offensive Facebook page was set up about the deaths of Fiona Bone and her colleague Nicola Hughes.
The arrest comes as more than 33,000 people have left condolences on the Greater Manchester Police website.
Earlier, Merseyside police said they'd arrested a 22 year old man from Netherley on suspicion of breaching the Communications Act 2003. He remains in custody.
Comments on one of the Facebook pages praised Dale Cregan as a hero who should be awarded an OBE and suggested more officers should be killed.
Mr Cregan was arrested after the gun and grenade attack which resulted in the deaths of the two police officers.
