More than £20,000-worth of the drug recovered
There were what's described by police as two significant seizures of cannabis in Douglas yesterday evening.
The first was at a property on Hillside Avenue, after officers executed a search warrant.
A 49-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested following the seizure.
The man has been charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply, and is due to appear in court this morning
The woman has been bailed pending further inquiries.
The second seizure related to a vehicle which was stopped on the outskirts of Douglas, where a further significant amount of cannabis was seized.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested following the seizure, and was placed on police bail pending further inquiries.
It's thought well in excess of £20,000-worth of the drug was recovered by police in total.
