Andreas resident gifts lounge suite which could be worth thousands
A local charity looks set to benefit from an auction with a difference after an Andreas resident’s amenity site find.
Nell Mylrea has gifted a settee and two chairs she found at the Northern Civic Amenity Site to the Jurby and Northern Community Initiatives charity.
It was only after getting the furniture home, and finding it didn’t fit her space, that Nell realised the items could be valuable.
She told Manx Radio that, after Googling, she realised they appear to be an Art Deco Epstein Cloud suite – which, in new condition, could retail for £40,000:
