Challenging perceptions of children in care
An art project opens for the first time today (1 Feb) to reflect those who have experienced the care system.
'Handmade superheroes - the untold story' has been created by the Isle of Man Voices in Participation (VIP) group - and aims to challenge perceptions of children in care.
The Children in Care Council has contributed towards its work, along with local artists, muscians and members of The Arts Council.
People can view each piece at various places around the Island including the Sea Terminal, Ronaldsway airport, Douglas Library and the NSC - with the Villa Marina and Noble's Hospital to follow.
A final exhibition will be displayed at the Manx Museum.
