Castletown residents offer ideas
The first of the SAVE initiative's drop-in sessions has been encouraging, with many keen to share their ideas - that's according to North Douglas MHK David Ashford.
He was at Castletown library yesterday (13 April) to take suggestions from the public on how the Manx government can save money.
Despite only a trickle of suggestions made face-to-face, a number of people attended to find out more about the SAVE initiative, capturing ideas to help cut government costs by £25 million over the next five years.
Other sessions will be held with other members of the SAVE team in Ramsey, Peel and Douglas.
