Minister reacts to u-turn accusations
The health and social care minister insists an additional bank holiday earmarked for late August - giving us a four-day weekend - has been planned for some time.
The timing of the announcement has led many to see the decision as a u-turn, following a public backlash against the cancellation of the one on Senior Race Day.
