Health minister reflects on antibody testing results
The health minister has quelled suspicions that Covid-19 was on the Isle of Man before Christmas.
Many Manx residents have reported falling ill and displaying coronavirus-like symptoms around December and January, leading to rumours the virus was here before the first confirmed case in March.
Asked if antibody testing could track when as well as if someone had coronavirus, David Ashford said that isn't possible:
Around 3,800 out of 10,000 planned coronavirus antibody tests have now been completed.
After a report suggested up to 2,500 people could have had Covid-19 here, Mr Ashford gave Dollin Mercer a progress update:
