33-year-old denies carrying out offence
Committal proceedings against a Strang woman accused of assault have taken place.
Jade Karen Cooney, of Cronk Grianagh, denies causing actual bodily harm to another woman at her home address on 14 April.
It’s alleged the 33-year-old’s assault left the victim with 53 separate injuries.
The case has now been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery where she will stand trial; bail has been extended until her next appearance on a date to be set.
