Court told no realistic prospect of conviction
A Douglas man who was accused of carrying out an assault outside a nightclub has had the charge against him dropped.
Fifty-three-year-old Colin Kenneth Carson, of Tynwald Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He'd allegedly committed the offence on 20 February outside 1886 Bar and Grill, on Regent Street in Douglas.
The prosecutor told the court he didn't see a realistic prospect of conviction and the charge was withdrawn.
