Cordon in area has now lifted
Police have confirmed they are investigating an assault in Peel which left a female victim with ‘serious’ injuries.
It happened in a lane which runs parallel to Bluebell Close at 9.30pm on Wednesday (4 September).
A cordon was in place near to QEII High School whilst enquiries were conducted but this has since been lifted.
Manx Radio has been requesting information about this incident since yesterday.
Isle of Man Constabulary has now confirmed the victim's injuries are not life threatening and says the investigation is at an early stage.
