Parkin speaks from on-board Viking Orion
An Island astronomer is helping to run the world's most advanced planetarium.
Howard Parkin from AstroManx is resident astronomer on the newly launched Viking Orion cruise liner.
The vessel was officially christened a couple of weeks ago - and has the first 3D stereo planetarium on a ship, which is mechanically isolated so it can be used while the vessel is at sea.
Speaking from on-board the Orion, Howard says he's delighted to be involved, as it's an amazing device:
