Manxman was a medallist at the Commonwealth Games in July
Commonwealth Games medallist David Mullarkey is preparing to take on the 2026 European Championships this evening (15 August).
The Isle of Man athlete will represent Great Britain, at the international meeting in Birmingham, in the Men's 10,000m final.
It's due to start at 8.25pm at Alexandra Stadium.
He's one of three competitors that Great Britain will field in the race along with Scott Beattie and Joe Wigfield.
Mullarkey comes into the event off of the back of a memorable Commonwealth Games in which he secured the bronze medal in the Men's 10,000m final on 28 July.
He also took part in the Men's 5,000m final, on 1 August, finishing eleventh.
