House's doors damaged
An attempted burglary at an Onchan property led to significant damage to both external and internal doors, say police.
It happened at a house on Royal Avenue West some time between 10am and 5pm on Wednesday, 25 January.
The police say although nothing was taken, the damage caused suggests those responsible made a real effort to get inside, possibly making noise which may have alerted people in the area.
Officers are currently investigating the matter with help from members of the public who have been spoken to in the area.
But they would like to speak to anyone else who may have information about the attempted break-in.
Call police headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 if you can help.
