Case against Lieutenant Governor begins today
The Island’s Attorney General is in court today.
Stephen Harding is suing the Island’s Lieutenant Governor over disciplinary procedures.
Mr Harding was suspended three years ago after being charged with perjury and committing acts against public justice, but was cleared last February after a retrial.
He's remained suspended on full pay since then.
His action against Adam Wood is because the Attorney General is a Crown Appointment rather than a government post.
The case at Douglas Courthouse gets underway this morning.
