LibVan says Island pupils need chance to improve grades
The Liberal Vannin party is calling for the education department to offer all Manx students the option of sitting an exam this autumn.
Exams at all levels were cancelled this summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic and results have been based on a modelling system.
New LibVan leader Lawrie Hooper says he fully supports all schools and the department in their attempts to appeal against "the shambolic treatment" of pupils by UK-based exam boards.
Mr Hooper says the Island needs to match the promise made in England to allow youngsters to take an exam to improve their grades:
