Wooden planters 'a good cost-effective' solution, says DOI minister
There's been a 'steady decline' in vehicle speeds through St Mark's since a traffic management scheme was introduced in 2016.
In 2013, vehicles travelling through the village were going at an average speed of 32mph, compared to 26mph in 2020.
There have also been no road traffic collisions in the area since 2016.
Infrastructure Minister Dr Michelle Haywood says the wooden planters, placed by the side of the carriageway, should soon be replaced:
