CoMin reports back on 'external advisory group'
An MHK is calling on government to avoid falling into a 'bunker mentality' and take outside advice.
It's after the Council of Ministers said it didn't need to set up an external group to help guide its Covid response.
In a report to Tynwald, CoMin claims a group, made up of clinicians and civil servants from public health, has evolved to fill this role.
It had been asked for by Douglas Central member Chris Thomas who's disappointed with the response.
He says government must be willing to hear alternative views:
