Bethany White recognised at London Director Awards
An Isle of Man based filmmaker – who scooped the ‘Best British Director’ at the London Director Awards – says she couldn’t believe it when she received the news.
Bethany White picked up the award for the thriller ‘The Auteur’.
The short film is about a male writer who begins to create a female character to terrify but he’s not prepared for her to fight back.
Bethany told Manx Radio her partner broke the news to her as she was flying back to the Island on the day of the awards:
