New head concentrates on play
The new head of the Children's Centre says she wants to instill a 'back to basics' approach to the charity's work.
Fiona Dawson is the new Chief Executive Officer at the centre for families and children.
She's taken over from John Knight, who stepped down in March after his 14 year tenure.
Fiona has lived on the Island for 16 years - she previously worked at Zurich International.
Three months into the role she says her own childhood inspires her work:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
