58-year-old excused court attendance due to illness
A Douglas man is due to appear in court again later this month after allegedly assaulting a police officer by grabbing their groin.
Fifty-eight-year-old Christopher McEvoy, of James Street, was excused attending Douglas Courthouse due to illness.
At a previous hearing he'd pleaded not guilty to assaulting a police officers, and being drunk in a public place, on 7 February.
He was bailed and will appear again on 19 April.
