Some comments unreasonable, in politician's view
Political member for roads at Infrastructure Tim Baker says some of the criticism of the promenade scheme has been unfair.
Cracks appeared in some of the concrete slab sections and the department is working with the designer and contractor to have this repaired.
However, other politicians and commentary on social media has lambasted government for delays and an inability to control large capital projects.
Mr Baker feels some of the things he's heard and read are unreasonable:
