Landlords Association's views will be considered
The infrastructure minister says he's committed to passing a new landlord registration bill by the end of this administration.
Some property owners in the private sector have criticised Tim Baker's department over a lack of direct consultation on the legislation.
If approved by Tynwald, it would see the introduction of a register of all landlords, minimum standards and monitoring of the sector.
Mr Baker has agreed to meet the Manx Landlords Association after it's raised objections to the bill, claiming it's unfairly weighted in favour of tenants.
He says the group's views will be considered:
