Has experience to help balance goverment books
The managing director of Isle of Man Bank says he wants to do something constructive to help the Island – by standing in September’s general election.
Bill Shimmins retires later this month after a 34-year career in the banking industry.
The 50 year old, who lives in Glen Vine, says he has the financial experience to help balance the government’s books if elected.
And he says his decision to stand is born of a desire to help:
