Barclays has announced it will remove three of its ATMs from various locations around the Island.

They are located in Peel, Castletown and the Isle of Man Business Park.

The ATMs that are due to be removed are at: Cycle 360Old Peel Post Office and Castletown Civic Centre.

In an email to customers, the bank said: "We appreciate that this may not be welcome news, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience it may cause."

The machines will be removed on 11 December 2026.

Barclays added: "We would also like to reassure you that we are still available at our branch in Douglas, where you can access cash services and ATMs are located both inside and outside."

There has been a series of ATMs withdrawn across the Island in recent years as more residents and business move to cashless operations.

However that has been met with criticism from those who can't or choose not to debit cards, online banking or systems such as Apple Pay.
