A banned driver accused of crashing into a bus as he delivered drugs has been remanded in custody.
Forty-three-year-old Christopher Richard Corrin of Anagh Coar Road appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
He’s charged with one count each of disqualified driving, refusing to provide a blood sample, having no car tax or insurance, failing to stop after a crash and possessing class A drugs with intent to supply them.
Mr Corrin hasn't yet entered any pleas to the allegations.
Prosecution advocate James Robinson told the court Corrin is accused of crashing into a bus in Anagh Coar in his yellow Suzuki Alto on 2 February, but didn't stop.
The bus driver called police and officers later found his car in Pulrose and arrested Mr Corrin nearby.
He refused to cooperate, but told police he was going to hide 20 individual wraps of cocaine, worth £1,200 found on him, at Pulrose Golf Club.
Magistrates refused to grant a bail application, Mr Corrin was remanded in custody to appear again on 11 February.
