Northern residents can now access digital radio
Northern residents should now be able to tune into BBC digital radio, after the broadcaster boosted its signal coverage.
More than 150 transmitters across Britain have been made DAB-compatible this year, giving fresh coverage to around 400,000 homes.
Stations like the BBC World Service and 6 Music were previously only available online for some Islanders in Ramsey and surrounding areas.
The Isle of Skye, Guernsey and more remote parts of Wales are among the other areas to benefit.
