Old recording surfaces online
A curious recording of Manx life from almost fifty years ago is proving a surprise hit online.
Archivists at the BBC have resurrected a clip from the long-running current affairs programme Nationwide, originally broadcast in November 1970, featuring a report on the superstitions surrounding the Fairy Bridge.
Presenter Bob Langley takes a tour of the landmark, and hitches a lift with some local motorists.
The four-minute video has already racked up nearly 30,000 views.
