R4 star makes flying visit
The Calf of Man has had its profile boosted by a recent BBC documentary.
Ornithologist David Lindo - also known as the Urban Birder - visited our Island's microcosmic neighbour as part of Radio 4's Open Country series.
He marveled at rarer sights such as choughs, hen harriers and the flourishing Manx Shearwater population, as well as interviewing representatives from the Manx Wildlife Trust.
The documentary went out on Radio 4 early this morning.
