Group keen to attract more volunteers
Beach Buddies needs new volunteers now more than ever, the group says.
The local charity claims 'dozens' of reports have been made by residents about build up of marine litter in the aftermath of storm Emma.
It's hoped there could be a record number of volunteers on Sunday (11), as attentions turn to a clean up of Douglas beach.
On Saturday (10), volunteers will also be meeting in the north of the Island, at Ramsey Bay - on the RNLI slipway on South Promenade, and opposite Ramsey Rugby Club on the North Promenade.
Each event gets underway at 10.30am.
