Buddies tackle southern coastline
Volunteer beach cleaners are hoping to be back in action in the south of the Island this weekend – after a fortnight of bad weather meant they had to shelve plans.
Beach Buddies will be taking on two beaches on Sunday – Spaldrick in Port Erin and Fleshwick beach on the western side of the Island.
If you’d like to take part, you can meet at the entrance to Spaldrick at 10.30am on Sunday morning.
All necessary equipment will be provided, but a cool windy day is forecast: so organisers say people should wrap up well and wear appropriate footwear.
