Cleaning session at Fishers Hill
Beach Buddies is back this weekend, after a break for the Easter weekend.
The charity returns to the south of the Island with a beach cleaning session at Fisher's Hill, starting at 10.30am.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the car park.
They will then be divided into different groups to cover a stretch of around two miles of coastline.
Beach Buddies provides all equipment and disposes of the materials afterwards, recycling where possible.
Founder Bill Dale says lots of volunteers prefer to bring their own gloves, and small gloves for children are always in short supply.
