Change in attitude or product needed to help environment
The founder of a Manx conservation charity says either a change of culture or a change of packaging is needed, to try and combat fast food rubbish.
Bill Dale called Manx Radio's Talking Heads programme earlier to air his views on what can be done to stop people discarding their wrappers, or make the wrappers more environmentally friendly.
The topic of discussion on the programme was litter from fast food outlets, in light of some questions Middle MHK Bill Shimmins put forward in the House of Keys earlier today. (11 Dec)
Mr Dale says improved detection rates and a few tough penalties would be a start.
