Team will be meeting at Spaldrick Beach tomorrow
Local environmental group Beach Buddies is heading south this weekend for its latest beach cleaning session.
The team will be meeting at Spaldrick beach, which is accessed via the steps at the roadside entrance to Bradda Glen, tomorrow morning at 10:30am (Sunday 17 March).
All equipment is provided, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Organisers are warning participants that the steps down to Spaldrick beach are pretty steep and everyone needs to take their time and be careful on the way down.
They say for those not 100% sure, then "there’s plenty of rubbish to collect along the footpath to Bradda Glen and out along the coastal walkway which goes through the glen itself which has very few, if any, steps".
