The award-winning environmental charity aims to expand internationally
Beach Buddies has expressed gratitude to its volunteers and supporters as it celebrates a successful year of beach cleaning and community clean-ups across the Isle of Man.
The organisation thanked schools for their ongoing support and pledged to strengthen ties with educators and students in 2025.
The group highlighted its international recognition, having received both European and World awards from the Energy Globe organisation for its educational programme, described as 'inspirational'.
Beach Buddies plans to expand its efforts globally, building on initiatives in the UK, Pacific Islands, USA, and Hong Kong.
The team invited the public to join them at the New Year’s Day Dip on Douglas promenade at 1pm, held alongside Breast Cancer Now.
Volunteers with global contacts are being encouraged to help spread Beach Buddies' mission.
