New volunteers welcome
Beach Buddies are heading up north this weekend (23/24)
Organiser Bill Dale says there have been reports of large amounts of marine litter in the Ballaghennie area around the Ayres Visitor Centre and the bird nesting season will soon be here.
The volunteer cleaners will be cleaning up the area from 10.30am today (Sun 24).
As usual all the rubbish collected will be recycled wherever possible.
It's hoped more new volunteers will turn up for the session - the weather forecast is good and families are especially welcome.
