Short ceremony in the Island capital marked the occasion
A special beacon has been lit in Douglas to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
A short ceremony took place last night (2 June) attended by Douglas Borough Council and invited guests.
The beacon was lit at the St Ninian's Church tower - one of the highest points of the city.
