Feverish bidding expected for Jive Talkin' instrument
Two Gibson guitars which belonged to Maurice Gibb go under the hammer in Wiltshire a week today (12 September).
One of them, a J45 acoustic, was the guitar Maurice wrote 'Jive Talkin'' on, which was the Bee Gees' big comeback hit of 1975 and went on to feature on their soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever.
The other is a custom-made, double-neck EBS-1250 electric guitar and bass from 1968.
