
MHKs have been scoffing at government claims it’s intervened in the Sefton Group to protect jobs.
The House of Keys saw an hour-long debate on the issue this morning, sparked by a question from Liberal Vannin Party leader Peter Karran.
Chief Minister Allan Bell said allowing the business to go into administration wasn’t an option because 300 jobs were at stake.
