Follows controversial RCH provision move
The Health and Social Care minister is using a recent update on follow-up endoscopy appointments to explain the transfer of services from Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
It's been revealed more than 150 patients on the Island have not been seen within the optimal period.
Kate Beecroft says consolidating the Ramsey service with Noble's Hospital was one of the measures taken when the extent of delays was identified.
The decision to move the endoscopy unit has caused controversy with many in the north unhappy with the decision.
All patients affected have now been prioritised and DHSC staff say they will have appointments before the end of August.
