The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the Beinn Y Phott Road has now reopened to traffic.
It had been shut for several days due to snow and ice in the area.

Thats due to planned carriageway construction work in Sulby Glen - adjacent to the Sulby Water treatment plant.
Access to houses above the waterworks and the reservoir is via the A18 Mountain Road during these times.
Outside of working hours, the road is open to through traffic, with two-way traffic maintained using temporary traffic lights.
