Urgent Tynwald amendment fell yesterday
The chief minister has hit back at a proposal to undermine the government's preparations for a Brexit.
An urgent Tynwald motion was passed during a special sitting on Tuesday.
It acknowledged the UK's decision, committed ministers to protecting the Island's interests, and commended their work so far.
But an amendment from West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas - which was knocked down almost unanimously - sought to omit the latter part of that motion.
