A lavish period drama is due to start shooting at various locations around the Island in a fortnight.
"Belle " is directed by a BAFTA Award Winner, Amma Asante and includes in its cast list Tom Wilkinson, Miranda Richardson, Penelope Wilton and Emily Watson.
Its the story of "romance in the face of overwhelming adversity", inspired by a 1779 painting of Dido Elizabeth Belle, and her life story. A mixed–race girl is raised as an aristocratic lady in 18th Century England.
