The boat has been in dry dock since April whilst undergoing a refit.
It had been hoped the vessel would return at the end of May but this was delayed after issues with the stern tube bearings were identified.
She sailed back to Manx shores yesterday and will undertake the first journey to Heysham at 8.45pm this evening.
