FIDE Chess.com returns to Island
Players from across the globe are currently coming together under the Comis Hotel roof, battling to be named the best chess player.
Organised by Isle of Man International Chess Limited, today is round 6 of the FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss.
The tournament includes the top 100 chess players in the world, including world champion Magnus Carlsen.
Looking at the ages of those competing, Associate Editor of Chess Magazine John Saunders says the comp easily disproves long-standing stereotypes:
