Follows recent dry spell which saw reservoir levels drop
Better forward planning for the management of the Island's water resources is needed.
That's the view of a political member for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
Manx Utilities has reduced water flows into the river system to offset the effects of the recent dry spell on our reservoirs.
Dr Michelle Haywood says without proper planning the Island’s rivers may never recover from the effects of reducing compensation flows:
