Warning over fixed-odds machines
There's a warning over the use of fixed-odds betting terminals - a modern form of electronic gambling which can be highly addictive.
Deputy Director of Motiv8 Lindsey Smart has been responding to news that regulations on machine betting in the UK could soon be tightened dramatically.
The current rules allow gamblers in the UK to bet as much as £100 every 20 seconds on fixed odds betting machines.
Ministers are looking at a cap of just £2.
Motiv8 provides free, confidential advice and support to Islanders with concerns about gambling habits.
And Lindsey says the often 'silent' addiction is a creeping problem here.
