Publication launched on Saturday morning
The production of a new bi-lingual English/Manx language children's book is being celebrated at an official launch this morning (Sat 10), the proceeds from which will go to charity.
"The Magic Tunnel" is a part-fact, part-fiction story of two replica steam engines at the Great Laxey Mine Railway who end up travelling back in time.
It's both authored and illustrated by local writer Edith Quaggin, who has decided to donate the funds raised to the railway itself.
The launch gets underway from 11am at Lexicon Bookshop in Douglas.
