Drumming marathon begins today
It's a big day for the Big Beat.
The 54-hour drumming marathon, in aid of Craig's Heartstrong Foundation and supported by PokerStars, starts in the Villa Marina Promenade Suite at 11am.
Six core drummers are involved - they'll spend the weekend playing along to a wide variety of music, some of which will see them doing so with DJs.
The public is also encouraged to go along to offer their support, enjoy the spectacle and even have a go on one of the drum kits, no matter what their level of experience, as participants Martin Rigby and firstly Noah Egelnick explain:
