More than 2,000 contributions in less than a week
The online consultation on the use of medicinal cannabis has had one of the highest responses ever on the Island.
The survey was only launched last week (Feb 6) but has already had more than 2,000 responses.
Health Minister David Ashford says the issue of cannabis has been 'an ongoing debate' and that 'it is only right' government now consults with the public, adding that he's delighted with the feedback after just a few days.
The consultation, which runs for six weeks, looks at both the potential use of cannabis as a medicine and hemp being grown as a cash crop.
