Castle Rushen High School students exceed fundraising goal
Students from one of the Island's secondary schools have raised over £2,000 for charity by running almost 300 miles.
The Big Yellow Run took place at Castle Rushen High School earlier this week in aid of the Children's Liver Disease Foundation.
The aim was for students to run 100 miles and raise £500, but the group exceeded both goals, running 286 miles and passing the £2,000 mark.
Faith Crook, a sixth form student at the school, organised the fundraiser, having undergone a liver transplant after developing autoimmune hepatitis type 2 before she was two years old.
